The Path Calls
The world was softer now.Lighter. Quieter. Still healing.
But Exoeternum felt something stir again —not pain, not fear, just a quiet knowing:
It’s time.
From the edges of old ruins, a path began to form —threads of light guiding forward, toward something waiting just beyond understanding.
The Garden appears
It was a place that shouldn’t have existed.A garden blooming in the middle of nowhere —alive with color, shape, and memory.
Leaves shimmered like mirrors.
Flowers hovered like thoughts.Everything moved as if it remembered something too important to forget.
Exoeternum hovered at the edge. Not afraid. But reverent. Somewhere deep inside, it knew:this was not a place to pass through.It was a place to feel.
What Was Left Behind
As it entered, the air changed.
Petals lifted into the sky, each one showing something from the past —faces it once knew, versions of itself it had outgrown, feelings it had buried.
They weren’t painful now.Just… heavy.Important.Ready to be seen, before they were released.
The moment of choice
At the garden’s center, a form waited.
It wasn’t frightening.It wasn’t broken.
It was made of everything Exoeternum had ever been —tangled, layered, glowing with old meanings.
It had once been necessary. Now…it was time to say goodbye.
Not to reject the past. But to thank it.And let it rest.

Exoeternum reached out.One hand. One breath.
The form began to dissolve, not in pain — but in peace.
Like light returning to the air that first gave it shape.
Around them, the garden bloomed. Roots glowed. Petals spiraled upward.
Not everything had to be held forever. Some things are beautiful because we let them go.

The garden faded behind.Not lost —just complete.
There was no road ahead.No sign. No voice.
Just space. Wide and open.
Exoeternum floated forward, not looking back, not searching ahead —just moving.
It carried no shape now.Only light.Only what it needed.
And that…was enough.
